  They are likely selling Buick timing covers which they know to be defective. I have one, they will not refund my purchase. Yes, I modified the timing cover. That is the reason Silver Seal states for not issuing a refund. The defect is this: the cam sensor / distributor bore is not aligned with the oil pump driveshaft. A Silver Seal employee stated to me over the phone that every Buick front cover this employee checked has this issue. American industry is in a sad state.
